Create VLANs using separate ranges of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and apply them to switches on specific ports to give higher priority to the ports used for VoIP lines. For switches, look for hardware with high-performance gigabit ports and automatic configuration that matches the QoS of each phone.
